Audio 101: Reykjavik

A 10 track progressive/tribal house album (1h 1m 58s) — released August 24th 2009 on Airport Route Recordings

Icelands Airport Route brings us a full length compilation of edgy dance straight from its homeland. Compiled unmixed by Englishman in Iceland, Simon Latham who was part of nineties UK dance act "Soundsation" and mastered by Bjarki Hallbergsson from Airport Routes very own electro sensation "Pluggd." This compilation ranges from experience musicians to younger fresh dancefans with all new attitude, fusing together to give you a wide progressive feel across the whole album and so becoming what the label is all about. Airport Route touches into new genres and ranges from softer deeper moments to techno, drifting between tech, progressive, and electro. Be sure, you might not of heard something like this before! "One of the most exciting and original dance compilations I've heard this decade...It seems Iceland is full of surprises. :-)" Pete Lunn (UK) "Great collection. Thoroughly enjoyed." s007ii - subRoutine (Canada) "Excellent collection of tracks in this release. " LLavoe (USA) "interesting selection of tracks" Andy Newland (UK)
